Went swimming - alot!
Made a couple trips to Silver Dollar City

Noah turns 6

My baby boy turned 6 in July.  It's hard to believe how fast the time has gone.  He wanted to have a birthday party so badly this year. Since his birthday is right in the middle of July, most of his friends are usually gone on vacation.  So we decided to have a party at the beginning of July.
He was so excited waiting for his friends to come.
We started with lunch at our house, eating his favorite - pizza!
He was thrilled with all his gifts.  His friends all know him so well.
They had yummy chocolate cupcakes for dessert.
Then we headed to Jump Zone.  The kids had a great time running, jumping, and playing games.  It was a fun day!

His actual birthday was the day after we got home from our vacation.  We were glad we had celebrated early because he spent his birthday sick with a sore throat and fever.
The fact he wasn't smiling after opening Legos shows that he truly felt miserable.
After a while he felt good enough to put together some of his new Legos.
He was excited to get a watch - a Lego one of course!
Birthday dessert was milkshakes since they felt good on a sore throat.

Cruising - Going Home

Unfortunately the time finally came that we found ourselves back in Fort Lauderdale.  We made sure we milked it one last time, and went to the dining room for breakfast.  Then we quickly collected our things and made our way off of the ship.
Since it was early in the morning, and our flight didn't leave until later that evening, we decided to rent a car and drive down to Miami to see the sights there.

We went to South Beach and parked so that we could go and see what it was like.
It was a nice beach, and the water was warm and beautiful.
We were totally the nerdy tourists with our clothes on, bags and shoes, feet in the water.
The old folks watched from afar.

It was painful for the kids to not be able to get in and play.

One last picture to leave you with.  Unfortunately this was what we saw as we turned to leave the beach.  I know, gross, but I had to share.
